Innovate

In the 21st century, similar drive systems have proved to be very useful in small robots, however, there have been no attempts to create a vehicle of OmniKart’s nature. OmniKart will provide useful, public research on the feasibility and capability of similar manned vehicles to come. No matter the challenges, we are determined to develop our concepts and bring new ideas to mainstream automotive design.

Inspire

Part of OmniKart’s mission is to inspire others to innovate and challenge conventional thinking. We have a mission to document and publicize our progress and discoveries, with plans to showcase our projects at numerous expositions, fairs, and robotics competitions, with a focus on reaching out to high school students. As we continue to pursue our ambitions, we aim to inspire other students to do the same.

Incorporate

While swerve drivetrains have generally only been reserved to small robotic applications and flat warehouse floors, OmniKart aims to bring this technology to a larger scale. Because of the unique capability of such a vehicle, the use cases are limitless. From go karts to moon rovers, commercial to enterprise, there are countless potential applications for OmniKart and its future variants.
